USES: Architectural signature plant. A great specimen or accent plant in high visibility areas either singly or in groups. Does well in planters, pots and containers and in roof gardens and rock gardens.
SIZE: Grows to 60cm tall with an 80cm spread.
LOCATION: Full sun to partial afternoon shade. Does well with some protection from direct humid sea wind. Struggles in the interior regions unless fully acclimatised.
SOIL: Best in an organically enriched open fertile soil with a pH 7.6 – 7.8, mildly alkaline. Must have a free draining soil.
FERTILISER: Apply a slow release 10:20:10 NPK annually with supplemental K during the growing period.
WATER: Regular spaced irrigation. Allow soil to dry out between applications. Does not accept over irrigation or waterlogging.
