USES: Native to Mexico, South America. Alternanthera amoena is ground cover. Leaves are elliptic to obovate, pointed, mid-green and 2.5cm long. Flowers are produced in spherical to ovoid, axillary spikes, 3-0.3cm long. Grows well throughout the year.
