USES: Accent, feature or specimen plant. Looks good as a container plant, on patios, deck areas, in courtyards and by water bodies.
SIZE: Grows to 2-3m tall with a 1m spread at a rate of 10 – 30 cm p/a.
LOCATION: Full sun to light partial shade. Does well with some protection from direct sea wind or hot, dry desert wind which may cause leaf burn.
SOIL: Best in an organically enriched free draining fertile soil with a pH 6.6 – 7.5, neutral.
FERTILISER: Apply a slow release 10:20:10 NPK annually in spring.
WATER: Keep soil moist. Not very drought tolerant. Does not accept over irrigation or waterlogging.
