‘Century Plant’

USES: A great _©statement_Ó plant. Accent, border, impenetrable barrier or container plant, en masse, in rock gardens and coastal shoreline areas.
SIZE: Grows 2 – 2.5m tall with a spread of 3-4m.
LOCATION: Full sun and reflected heat to partial shade. Does well in both coastal and interior regions.
SOIL: Best in an open sandy soil with a pH 5.6 – 6.5, acidic to mildly acidic.
FERTILISER: Apply a slow release 14:14:14 NPK at a rate of 25gr. p/m2 in spring and autumn. This plant is monocarpic so do not over fertilise which will encourage flowering.
WATER: Very drought tolerant. Allow soil to dry out between water applications. Does not accept over irrigation or waterlogging.
