FAMILY: Jatropha
USES: Native to West Indies. Evergreen shrub with small flowers surrounded by bright red bracts.Clusters of scarlet flowers are about 2.5 cm long. Leaves are simple, alternative, oblanceolate, often fascicled on the terminal of stem. Grows well in summer.
